This is the last of a 3 part series on local churches and how they are blessed to have people from Shepherds as part of their congregation. As I ran into residents, clients and students of Shepherds Ministries on campus last week, I asked them where they went to church, what they did to serve with their local body and what they liked about being with them. My questions were met with enthusiasm and joy. Six different churches in our area are represented by those whom I interviewed. We hope you enjoy listening and are encouraged to invite individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities into your congregation. You will be blessed if you do. Also, please listen to parts 1 and 2 of this series if you haven’t already.

Pastor Jeff Talbert is the Senior Pastor of Westosha Lakes Church in Paddock Lake, Wisconsin. Many Shepherds College students are a part of his congregation. In this podcast he talks about the extreme blessings people miss out on when they aren’t able to interact with people who have intellectual disabilities, on a weekly basis. He challenges us to open our doors and experience the mutual blessings these relationships bring.I know you will enjoy what he has to say. Thanks for listening.
